Who are we? We are SmartPhone Plans Canada (SPPC) Consultants. We share a range of available possible plan configurations / options from select markets across Canada for customers and upon customer request, we represent the customer to get the plan of their choice that best suits their needs regardless of the market the plan is offered in. All customers getting plans mentioned on our website are responsible for reading and accepting all our terms & conditions prior to giving us consent to getting the plan setup completed. Nothing is performed without the customers consent, be it written (through email/sms) or verbal (over the phone).
What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog or website?
We personally do not collect any information about our customers on our website or blog, any information that is requested to identify you is requested by our apps such as the Feedback app or the blog to identify you by name and nothing more.
When do we collect information on our website or blog or to setup plan(s)?
The information is only collected if you are leaving us a review or making a comment on our blog post(s), subscribe to a newsletter.
However during plan setup we require that all individuals interested in any of our plans must consent to the following terms:
1. Please provide accurate information, as any errors can cause delays for your plan to be set up.
2. You authorize me/us to be your consultant(s) to port number(s) on your behalf, get the correct plan configured as per your request, you are the account holder of both the accounts you want to port from, AND the account you want to port the number to.
3. You authorize me as your consultant(s) to make the required account changes in order to get your desired plan on your behalf.
How do we use your information provided for Plan setup?
- We only use the information provided by the individual to setup the desired plan(s) and port number(s) to and from individual owned/provided account(s). The information we receive / collect from users, at any time does NOT contain any sensitive data such as Government Issued ID numbers, Date of Birth, Credit Check information of any kind or credit card / bank information.
How do we use your information provided on our website?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
• To personalize user's experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
• To quickly process your comments / feedback.
• To follow up with them after correspondence (live chat, email or phone inquiries)
How do we protect visitor information?
Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.
We have a SSL Certificate to protect any information located on our website!
• However we do not collect any sensitive information regarding our customers that may put their privacy at risk.
Will the carrier take my plan away from me?
So far since 2013, We have not had any issues with any of our customer accounts setup by us who continue to simply pay their monthly phone bill with pre-auth. credit/debits. Every month you are reminded when your bill is ready, you may review every detail of it and if you have any questions, you can always contact us for support and guidance regarding anything that may appear out of the ordinary. We have disclosed this in our terms & conditions section because we believe in transparency. At any time should your account be flagged due to your actions, we will not be held responsible, however we will be happy to assist and get you back on the plan ASAP without any setup fee.
Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it's release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety.
However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Third-party links
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.
